Bidness is another song that just happened - it felt right immediately. Brian just started singing to what Austin was playing and there was a song. I remember we wanted to write something with attitude. “It’s just business” is such a bull**** phrase to use, you know? Someone we knew had recently used it on us, as in “sorry we’re about to do something callous and cold to you, you understand it’s just business.” It’s fun to sing from that perspective too..it’s fun to be the bad guy. And Dexter KILLS it in the solo with that drum roll..I dare you to turn that up loud and not feel it.
